Karen has lived in White Rock BC since 1965, giving her a unique and intimate knowledge of the community. She’s seen the “City by the Sea” evolve from a quaint cottage destination for Vancouverites into one of the most desirable places to live, thanks to its sunny microclimate, beautiful beaches, excellent schools, proximity to the US border and international airports, and its strong sense of safety and community. This deep-rooted connection to the area has played a pivotal role in her success as a Realtor®️.

Karen entered the real estate profession in 2008, following a successful career in various sales and office environments. She specializes in residential properties across White Rock, South Surrey, and the Fraser Valley, and is proud to be part of the esteemed team at Sotheby’s International Realty Canada in White Rock. Over the years, Karen has built a reputation grounded in professionalism, empathy, and results. Her dedication to her clients and her community has not gone unnoticed.

Karen was deeply honoured to receive the John Armeneau Award from her peers at the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board. This prestigious recognition celebrates her leadership, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the real estate profession and the community she serves. It’s a meaningful milestone that reflects the respect and support she has earned throughout her journey.

Her involvement in the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board includes serving five years as a Director, chairing the Professional Standards Committee, and currently acting as Chair of the Granting Committee and Director of the Fraser Valley Realtors Charitable Foundation. Karen’s consistent performance has also led to her promotion to Senior Vice President, a testament to her outstanding sales volume and client satisfaction.

In addition to her real estate career, Karen has always found ways to give back. She has volunteered for numerous Rotary International events alongside her husband, served as president of a local non-profit, and was highly active in the school system while raising her two children. She continuously seeks opportunities to learn and grow, holding designations such as Certified Negotiation Expert and Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist to better serve her clients with skill and confidence.
